Creative Workshop Intern
The Creative Workshop Intern will assist with the ideation, preparation, promotion and production of the The Hostful Hive Creative Workshops.
Creative Workshop Intern Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help with finalizing details and creative project designs for 2020 workshops
- Assist in managing workshop calendar and keeping it up to date based on corresponding workshop dates and times
- Assist in communicating workshop details with venue and workshop hosts as well as workshop attendees
- Assist with sourcing and ordering materials needed for upcoming workshops while remaining within workshop budget
- Assist with tracking shipments and organizing incoming orders
- Help manage and maintain updated inventory
- Assist with pre-workshop preparation including shopping trips as needed
- Assist with workshop setup, execution and breakdown
- Participate and attend workshop development and strategy meetings as assigned
- Makes decisions with little or no choice as to the methods and procedures used in achieving results
- All other workshop related duties as assigned

- Knowledge and proficiency in online shopping with ability to stay within budget
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills
- Ability to research and find reliable wholesale partners
Design:
- Strong knowledge and passion for DIY design
- Keen eye for visual design
Industry:
- Strong understanding of target audience and industry trends
- Interest in DIY projects related to hosting and entertaining
Communication:
- Ability to communicate with industry partners and attendees in the company’s style and tone
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on writing skills
Management:
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects
- Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative
- Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to make constructive recommendations

- Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others with whom you have no direct authority over

Relocation Information:
- Relocation and housing expenses are the responsibility of the intern
Working Details:
- Office Hours – Mondays: Independent Work, Tuesdays: 10:30am – 3:00pm, Wednesdays: Independent Work + Team Call, Thursdays: 10:00am – 1:30pm, Fridays: Independent Work
- Location – Casselberry/Winter Springs, FL (address to be shared upon signed Intern Agreement)
- Start Date – ASAP
- End Date – June 2020
