One thing we’ve learned as adults is that our lives go through seasons. We might look back six months, a year, or more and suddenly realize that our lives are much different, our personal styles have evolved, and our priorities have shifted. Change can feel unsettling, like we’re entering into the unknown, but we’ve found one mindset shift that helps with that feeling of unease: intentional living. We ask ourselves, “Why are we on this journey?”, “What are we trying to accomplish?”, “What are our priorities?” and, suddenly, we feel a whole lot better about moving into a new season in life.
Similarly, we have this same feeling as we enter into new seasons in nature. As flowers bloom and the air warms outside right now, it’s normal to wonder about the future. What will this new season bring? What will our lives look like in three months from now? We don’t ever have the answers to these questions, but when we live with intention, we find that it’s okay to leave these unanswered. When we embrace living our own truths, the unknown seems a whole lot less scary. With this in mind, we’ve designed a Spring Tablescape that Welcomes Intentional Hosting.
We were beyond thrilled to partner with Work Your Closet, who photographed each of our designs so beautifully, and Patina & Petals who meticulously designed the floral accents to highlight each of our tablescapes perfectly.

Inspiring an Intentional Gathering
Spring is the perfect time to set some new mindset shifts into place and welcome the idea of hosting intentionally. When you set the table for loved ones, ask yourself what’s in your heart. Are you worried about your to-do list when you open your doors to loved ones? Or, perhaps you’re feeling insecure about the meal you’ve prepared or the table you’ve set. We’ve been there. We know from personal experience that these thoughts can get in the way of being present and relaxed. And, by letting these fears and worries be at the forefront of our minds, we become out of alignment with the deeper purpose of connection when hosting.
So, we challenge you to put your worry to the side and ask yourself: what’s the purpose of setting the table? What do I hope to achieve by gathering with the important people in my life? Allow your answers to help realign yourself in a more intentional and purposeful way.
We know that creating meaningful moments with our family and friends is important to all of us. That’s why we chose APIARY pieces to encourage your guests to get cozy and stay awhile. You might’ve heard us say before on our Midmorning Buzz Episodes that using throw blankets and pitchers are some of our most favorite Hostful Hacks we’ve learned from our grandmothers. It’s true! Both of these entertaining essentials encourage you and your loved ones to relax and stay awhile. For this tablescape, we also chose beautiful neutrals that create a calming atmosphere and can be used all year long, simplifying your hosting and entertaining preparation. Our goal is to help you live out your intention and purpose, starting with the dinner table.
With that, we hope our Spring Tablescape is a gift to you and your loved ones – for whatever season of life you’re living right now. Let’s open our doors with our deeper purpose in mind. Let’s realign with what’s inside our hearts. And let’s allow ourselves to host with intention this spring.
