On Tuesday, we shared a recap of our first #TheHostfulHive, and let’s just say, it won’t be our last! It was not only an opportunity to spend a night in community with women from all walks of life but also an evening to share one of our childhood dreams of teaching others how to craft.
One of our favorite parts of the night was gifting each of the attendees a carefully curated swag bag provided by our generous sponsors. Each of the sponsors are fellow small business owners who share a love for hosting and being in community. We were honored to feature each of their businesses that night. Today, we are thrilled to share what each of our attendees took home with them.

An essential to hosting is providing food for your guests to enjoy while they visit. Whether it’s full entrees or light pickings, homemade or store bought, tasty eats will make your guests feel at home. Liz of Within the Grove, a DIY home decor and design blog, designed these beautiful Recipe cards to keep our favorite recipes handy when we’re expecting guests. She also handpainted these mini wooden spoons we are so excited to add to our kitchen essentials collection.
Speaking of food, you can never go wrong with offering up some sweet treats. Melissa of Fairy Tales & Sea Shells, a vintage and handmade decor boutique, knew just that and treated each of our guests with sprinkle covered marshmallows! While we’re pretty sure none of them lasted that long, they were the perfect nod to Galentine’s Day.
Since we’re talking sprinkles, can we please talk about these mini glass jars filled with hot pink sprinkles?! Melissa of Melissa Creates, a professional food and table stylist, knows how to add a pop of color to any tablescape or dish. Just add to your favorite sugar cookie recipe or sprinkle over white iced cupcakes and you have the perfect treat!
Sometimes we want to send our guests home with a special thank you or bring our favorite hostess a little gift. Our friends Tara and Brittany of Twigs & Birch, an online gift shop full of custom goods, had the right idea when when they created the “Love the Wine Your With” wine bag. You can gift as is or fill with a bottle of wine, and it’s guaranteed they’ll love it.
Finally, each of our guests left with our signature jar full of honey and honey dipper. We just couldn’t help ourselves! Also, a fun fact, honey never spoils so it makes the perfect little gift for your guests or gracious hostess!
Also, a special thank you to our dear friend Ly Sue of LH Photography who captured all the beautiful images from the night! We wouldn’t be able to cherish something so special otherwise.
