Growing up, we were never huge pie fans. Our grandparents would reveal their pie spreads after a family dinner party, and we’d always turn to one another and laugh. This does not still remain true because our taste buds have expanded as we have grown older. While we love all different types of pies, Mimi’s Chocolate Pie will always be a favorite of ours!

Mimi’s Chocolate Pie

The Secret to Serving Pie
The secret to serving this easy recipe is to go all out on the chocolate. Most times you will choose a regular premade pie crust for your base but if you’re serving a group of chocolate lovers, select a Oreo Chocolate Pie Crust to bring a burst of flavor!

How to Serve Chocolate Pie
Serving Mimi’s Chocolate Pie can be as simple as pulling it out of the refrigerator and placing it on the dining room table (premade pie crust comes packaged in a tin pan – huge win!) or you can use our simple #HostfulHack and top off with our favorite Wooden Pie Topper!
#HostfulHack: Refrigerate and then replate! After refrigerating the pie, the crust will harden and makes it easier to replate the pie from the tin pan to a beautiful pie dish. Select a neutral pie dish you love and use it for every family gathering. It’ll become a tradition and loved by your whole family.
