How I Feel Loved in my Grief
My love language is a tie between Acts of Service and Words of Affirmation. I must admit that I have been blessed by my community over the last five years in the ways they have loved me. From friends showing up at my door with chocolate cake to others washing my dishes or bringing my family a meal, their acts have shown me that I matter, my grief matters, and my loss matters.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss is a difficult journey that each mom will live with forever, and we all grieve differently. The best thing we can do for a friend after they lose a baby is simply there. For more information about what to do when a friend loses a baby, please head on over to Orlando Mom Collective to read about each love language and tangible ways you can love her well.
