As we get older, we’re finding it’s harder and harder to carve out time for girlfriends. In high school, we’d see our best friends every weekend and then in college, we lived with them and could spend as much time as our hearts desired chatting and hanging out! Now, in our thirties, one-half of us with two children, owning a business and life happening (not only for us but for them as well), we’re finding ourselves saying, “Let’s get together,” more than actually getting together. This year, we hope to be intentional with our relationships and carve out time in our busy schedules to foster those relationships and we thought a Galentine’s Day party would be the best place to start!
We hosted some of our favorite gals and threw a Favorite Things Galentine’s Day party that included a gift exchange, a menu with our favorite treats and Mimi’s Egg Salad Sandwiches, and decorated a tablescape that was romantic and soft. This Galentine’s Day party tablescape features loose florals designed by Patina & Petals, light touches of our favorite blush and all of Galentine’s Day must-haves from West Elm Orlando.
