It’s no secret around here the love we both share for planning events and hosting company. When we were little girls (and even to this day) we were always so eager to set our grandmothers’ tables and serve the guests that sat around them. It was a pretty common occurrence for us to play what we liked to call “waitress” and walk around to take everyone’s drink orders on a pad of paper. Then, we’d head to the kitchen and get to work by filling the glasses with whatever was requested.
This passion has followed us well into our adulthood and because of that, when any special occasion to host an affair arises, we are always excited to take part. Any excuse to gather together is a good excuse in our book! Enter Friendsgiving. An occasion that started to become a trend not too long ago has become more of a tradition for many, and we just love how it brings friends from near and far together for sweet fellowship.

#HostfulHack: Use a decorative throw blanket as a table runner.
One of our favorite ways to incorporate a table runner is to use a decorative throw blanket. Loosely lay the blanket down the length of the center of the table to provide color, texture and interest. Then, after your affair, use it as a decorative throw within your home design!
