A few weeks ago, I (Shannon) was writing our Instagram post about Nana’s Homemade Italian Meatballs, and I texted Jenna to ask her what her “must-have” meal was when she visits Nana. Without hesitation, she responded with, “taco soup!” Funny enough, that is one of my husband’s top requests when we visit as well, and we make it often at home because it’s not only delicious, but it’s also a super easy weeknight dinner recipe or perfect for a dinner party! So, if Taco Tuesday is a regular thing in your house, and you’re looking to switch things up a bit, be sure to give this easy taco soup recipe a try! You will not be disappointed.

The Secret to Serving This Soup
The secret to this easy recipe isn’t so much that it’s halfway homemade, but that it can be as simple or as fancy as you like. If you’re looking for something a little more simple, you can just include the essentials like the ground beef, taco seasoning, salsa and V8 juice. However, if you want to get a little fancier with it, you can add in complementary ingredients to make this recipe look and taste even more like it was made from scratch!
How to Serve Taco Soup
While there isn’t a right or wrong way to serve Nana’s taco soup, our favorite way to serve it is in mini dutch ovens! And now with the cooler months approaching, we love them even more because they encourage loved ones to cozy up with a warm bowl of soup whether they’re curled up near the coffee table or gathered around the dining table.
