As you may know, we’re all about spending as much time with our guests and as little time in the kitchen. We’ve spoken about it time and time again because the moments are better spent with those we love rather than with the food we make. When we host loved ones, we always try to find ways to make that possible. For Easter this year, we decided on an easy menu because we’re tending to newborns while hosting out of town guests. No pressure, right?! Well, there’s none when it comes to styling an Easter Crudites and Cheese Board, and we’re so excited to share the simple recipe with you!

Old Time Pottery’s Tray:
First and foremost, while shopping at Old Time Pottery for our Easter Tablescape, we came across this rustic and gorgeous tray. Instantly, we knew it would be perfect for our Easter Crudite and Cheese Board! The raw wood behind vegetables of vibrant colors was exactly what we wanted to display while serving our loved ones.

Easter Crudites and Cheese Board

Ingredients
- 1 package of Triscuits
- Purple, Yellow and Orange Carrots (We found ours at Trader Joes.)
- Garlic Hummus
- Turnips
- an 8oz block of mozzarella
- kalamata olives
- whole almonds
Directions
- Wash all vegetables.
- Peel carrots.
- Place olives and garlic hummus inside small white dishes.
- Slice cheese into triangles.
- Style all food – have fun, get messy with them and don’t be afraid to layer!

See, easy peasy! Not only is this a delicious plate but it’s not hard to create! Just remember while shopping for vegetables, the more color the better!
