With Mother’s Day around the corner, we’ve been thinking a lot about the special women in our lives: our grandmothers, Mimi and Nana, and our very own mom. Earlier this month, we were so very lucky to have all three under one roof. It was a rare treat that we soaked up from start to finish!
One thing became apparent, though, as we enjoyed our time together with them: we were able to see that each one is so unique, with her own personality and tastes.
We love that Mimi is a master entertainer who relishes every moment she has with company. Her famous Christmas Party is a family favorite, and she enjoys hosting all sorts of holidays, birthdays and other celebrations throughout the year! Then, we thought of Nana, who is our resident Italian chef, making incredible homemade meals for us whenever we’re together. (Have you tried her amazing homemade Italian meatball recipe?! It’s seriously a must-have recipe in every home!) And, finally, our mom is an incredible connector. She loves introducing friends to other friends, creating an eclectic extended family around her. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome in her home, something we love to embrace in our own homes too.

Reflecting on all of this gave us pause as we planned out our annual Mother’s Day Gift Guide.
